Dave, Understand that things have changed since Sib 3. With dynamic parts, I'm not sure how you would make three staves appear on the part instead of two. I don't want to use a hybrid organ staff if I can avoid it. What I want is a grand staff with one extra staffwhich is not bracketed to the other two but which appears on the part when printed/edited. Haven't played with it yet, but it might allow you to specify where it starts and how long it runs. What I envision is a situation where the player has one conventional grand staff which is keyboard 1 dedicated to a string ensemble patch. In some cases, a third staff in the bass clef is below the grand staff. On that staff the player occasionally drops down with his left hand to play bass lines with an electric bass patch. In other cases, there is a treble clef staff above the grand staff. This staff is in treble clef and occasionally the player's right hand rises up to play a choir ah patch. Much of the time, the player is playing strings in both hands. that's why there's a string patch on the grand staff. What's the best way to set this up in Sib 5?
