Dave and Dan,
I don't have the problem Dave reported with the alt F ks for file
menu, nor do I have problem with alt u for plugins.

Dan,
Left you a bug report. Alt-f (for the file menu) brings up a complaint:
"Unknown script call to Alt-f".
Works okay if I press Alt, then release and then press f. But unfortunately
for me I don't work that way. And the other menu items (Edit, play, notes,
etc.) all work fine with the two-key combinations.
Oops. I just checked, and Alt-U does not work, either.
