[SI-LIST] touchstone models

Hello all! I am quite new to this list so I hope I'm not asking "dumb
questions" but I am curious if anyone has used the touchstone viewer in
hyperlynx. I received a 16port S-parameter model and am curious what exactly
all these plots tell me.
What is useful information to extract from this type of model? For instance, I
have selected S11, S22, S33, ..., S1616 ports to plot in dB vs frequency. They
call this the return loss, which is a measure of impedance matching? I've been
trying to find some information regarding all this, but haven't found anything
that turns on the "oh yeah!" light.
