Stray capacitance is not transmission line capacitance. Stray capacitance is
that due to pads, test points, etc. The first order approximation is the
parallel plate capacitance equation for pads or test points.

Subject: [SI-LIST] pcb stray capacitance

Hi Gurus ,

What is the formula for PCB stray capacitance ?. Is there is difference in
the transmission line [ signal ] capacitance and the pcb stray capacitance?,
If so , what is it's formula also ?

Thanks in advance,
Prathibha
