You may want to check into available "reference design" boards
from high-speed chip vendors (National, Vitesse, Maxim and the
like). Many vendors have readily-available boards with accompany-
ing design files. These designs usually are not too complicated
due to the focus on the specific chip or chips under test. There
may or may not be a charge associated with them.
