The CT6 current probe outputs a voltage (into a 50 Ohm load) that is
proportional to the current in the sensor. I don't recall the sensitivity
of the CT6 but you should be able to look that up yourself.
Scopes are used to measure any phenomenon that can be translated into a
voltage. Remember you will need to design an insertion point for the probe
to minimize parasitics. You cannot just take a 10 cm wire and thread it
through the CT6 and expect to get any meaningful results.

Subject: [SI-LIST] high frequency current measurements
Hi ,
I am doing some high frequency current measurements. What now I have is
the CT6 current probe and a oscilloscope. Is it enough to make the test
set-up ?
My question is that usually the oscilloscope is used only for the voltage
measurement, not for current ? how can I deal with it ?
thanks ,
best
