[SI-LIST] difference between two batches of main boards?

dear friends:
     a cell phone company design one celluar flip-phone. they let two different 
company produce two  batches of main board PCB. asembled  these PCB on the 
different times. the two batches has the entire same PCB and has little 
different in BOM, for example the same device has the different vendor. the 
result is the two board has the different standy current. we wonder the reason 
very much.
