You said you are not interested in GUI-based calculators. BUT ........
At the higher end of the spectrum is the Polar Calculator, especially 
the Si8000 Excel version (not exactly GUI, but not exactly command 
line, either.). It is beautifully equipped to do "what if" and 
sensitivity analyses.
