I have to ask: what frequency did your measuring instrument go up to? Did you only have a strong 2nd harmonic? Or was everything above 2nd outside the bandwidth of the measuring instrument? -- Joe S. From: Joel Brown <joel@xxxxxxxxxx> To: SI-List <si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 05/17/2012 02:45 PM Subject: [SI-LIST] clock 2nd harmonic Sent by: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx I am having an EMI problem with the second harmonic of a 65 MHz clock. There is a strong emission at 130 MHz. What is most likely causing the second harmonic and how can I reduce it? The clock waveform does not look seriously distorted.
