I think that it is not Outlook that inserts all the equals signs and hex codes. As far as I know, my mail program is sending plain text, and yet this maillist (and ONLY this maillist) does those funny things to it. A space character in certain places (end of a line?) seems to cause = "=3D20" (that should read: equals sign followed by two zero) to appear in its place. Likewise, an equals sign that I type gets turned into "=3D3D" (equals sign, three D). =20 This behavior only started after SI-LIST migrated from Sun's own system to the Freelists.org server, and I don't see it on other maillists. =20 Andy ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: http://www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: http://www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
