I run into to this fairly often on NT. Check the task manager and kill any back_nt_xns.exe processes. Unlikely, but there may be skunked xtk.exe processes too. Kill 'em all regardless and things will be back to normal. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Marc Humphreys Axiowave Networks, Inc 200 Nickerson Rd. When i run/start the analysis it gives the following error. "Back end process death The backend process died, further operations no longer possible" After building design data base, whenever i start the batch analysis or current list analysis, i am getting this error. It was running properly till yesterday night.Suddenly this problem came and i couldn't run the tool. I want to know whether this is due to any model related issue or the license error. Could anybody suggest me any idea to solve this issue? thanks and regards, Sivakumar.S ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
