I run into to this fairly often on NT. Check the task manager
and kill any back_nt_xns.exe processes. Unlikely, but there
may be skunked xtk.exe processes too. Kill 'em all regardless
and things will be back to normal.

Subject: [SI-LIST] XTK error

Hi Gurus,
I am doing SI simulation using XTK. When i run/start the analysis
it gives the following error.

        "Back end process death
The backend process died, further operations no
longer possible"

After building design data base, whenever i start the batch analysis or
current list analysis, i am getting this error. It was running properly till
yesterday night.Suddenly this problem came and i couldn't run the tool.
I want to know whether this is due to any model related issue or
the license error.

Could anybody suggest me any idea to solve this issue?

thanks and regards,
Sivakumar.S
