Actually, most DIMM has "real" series terminators at the data lines. I am
certain most of the memory buses are multi-drop.

I think the moral is to be careful with words conveying an absolute =
(always, never, impossible, . . . )It is to easy to find exceptions. =
When someone says "never" read in "not normally" and when they say =
"always" read in "usually" or "often". I would say "never use never" but =
that would be violating my own rule.

And on termination, as a wise old engineer once said "Just do the right =
thing".
