You could also use the Model Integrity (MI) tool to make IBIS models from transistor models. MI is part of the Cadence tools. What I'm doing is converting the spice model to Ibis. You can use the publicly available s2ibis tool, or if you go through the Ibis specs, you can make your own converter (I couldn't get the tool to work with our transistor models for some reason). Ibis fits right into Spectraquest. Hope this helps -Nitin -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sreejith Varma Sent: Wednesday, April 21, 2004 9:26 AM To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SI-LIST] Using Spice models in Spectraquest Hello Cadence users,=3D20 I havent done much digging into this yet.
