[SI-LIST] Termination schemes

Hi All,
We all know different types of terminations. Just want to know how to determine 
the resistance value in  each scheme and which one to use in which place, and 
the characteristics of each  termination.

Please help to get the details. It will be great if the explanation is of more 
practical oriented than the formulas.
