[SI-LIST] Re: Temperature variable in SI simulation

Chetan,

The IBIS model's temperature simply says that the data was derived at
those conditions. The simulator tool that uses it will usually not =
scale
or process the data and allow you to figure out what would happen
if the temperature (or supply voltage) was something between the
given values.

This will be doable in the (near) future using the BIRD75 (*-AMS)
language extensions.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Temperature variable in SI simulation

Hi experts,

I want to do SI simulation of my design at various temperatures.

The IBIS models of the devices specify temperature ranges as 0 to 100 =
degree
C and a typical value of 50 degree C.
My knowledge is, the VI and VT curves of the devices are specified at 50
degree C.

How can I specify board and device temperatures in Cadence Spectra =
Quest??

Even if there is a way, will the SI tool really scale the VI curves with
specified temperature??

Regards,
Chetan
