In my email, I was referring to the fact that HSPICE allows 
direct utilization of IBIS models, whereas XTK requires
first conversion of IBIS models to QUAD format.

Is it now possible to use IBIS models directly in
XTK simulations?

FYI, the latest released version of XTK includes an embedded Berkeley SPICE3f5 
SPICE engine that
supports W-element and BSIM3 models.
