[SI-LIST] Silicon Motion SM502 and SM501 - any experience?

I am about to design in an SM502 display controller.
The specs look good enough, the 0.8mm pitched BGA will be a pain
but I guess I have to be glad it is not 0.5mm pitched.
I looked at its predecessor, the SM501, including its errata
sheet.
There is one which says "PCI burst transfers do not work".
Now this is serious, offscreen buffer will be moved to framebuffer
memory via PCI all the time.
I also found a list of fixed errata which however does not include
the above mentioned one.
Does anyone know whether the SM502 has this fixed?
Anyone with some other experience on either part?
Thanks,
Dimiter
