Thank you, Stephen Scearce High Speed Design Group=20 Cisco Systems _________________________________________ Req 734985 - Job Description=20 Signal Integrity Intern at Cisco's RTP, NC facility: Duties will include: - correlation of SI simulations to laboratory measurements - verification of the simulation models and methods - responsible for: - lab measurements of various circuits across several technologies - comparison to simulation results and identification of differences - working w/ SI engineers to analyze differences and adjust models and simulations - operation and maintenance of lab test product hardware and test software - management of lab measurement equipment - performing simple circuit simulations using several software tools.=20 - other SI tasks as required Skills required: - minimum 6 month assignment, prefer 9 months - strongly prefer graduate student, Masters or PhD. Rising seniors will also be considered. - completion of a Design of Packaging and Interconnect course, or equivalent is preferred. - must have classwork/background in digital and analog circuit design=20 - prefer lab work / experience in operation of basic lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, pattern generators, etc. - experience and/or classwork in networking architectures is a plus.=20 - experience and/or classwork in electromagnetic design and analysis is a plus.=20 - must have some familiarity with H-Spice simulations - experience with PERL language is a plus.
