All, We have immediate requirements for people that are accomplished in the area of Signal Integrity for a development initiative in the San Jose area. Individual should have demonstrated expertise in the following. Signal Integrity Engineer Duties : As a Signal Integrity Engineer, you will handle test and characterization of our product to different protocols. You will provide analysis of the protocols and the ramifications on electrical requirements of the part. You will need to devise appropriate test methodologies. In addition to protocol testing, applicable SSO and decoupling testing will have to be executed for the HSIO. Capability to operate from standards and plans for testing to the same is also desired. You will also support customers implementing High Speed IO features in their systems. Customer support through Lab Testing and HSPICE modeling will also be required. Qualifications: A successful candidate should have a BSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years experience, or MSEE with a minimum of 3 years experience in high speed design and SI related areas, with the qualifications as follows - Good working knowledge of high speed I/O standards and transmission line theory is required. - lab experience in testing and characterization with tools such as BERTs, TDR, VNA, sampling scopes and noise generators is required. - Good understanding of high speed board level design signal integrity issues, such as terminations, DC coupling, cross-talk, SSN, etc. is strongly preferred. - Working experience in modeling I/Os in terms of SSO/SSN and silicon measurement correlations using HSPICE or other SI tools is a big plus. - Working knowledge with SI tools such as HSPICE, IBIS, ANSOFT SI-2D/3D, HFSS, ADS, Specctraquest, ICX and SIGRITY are strongly preferred. - good written and oral communication skills are a must - Verilog, Quartus experience a definite plus If you know others qualified please feel free to pass this along to them or email me thier information.
