[SI-LIST] Signal Integrity Engineering Position at Xilinx

 
Xilinx Inc. in San Jose, CA is looking for a Signal Integrity Engineer
to join our Packaging R&D group.

 

The successful candidate will join a key group within Xilinx involved
with the SI aspects of high-performance package design and package
characterization. Experience with modeling and simulation a must. Our
group performs electromagnetic extraction of package RLC parasitics and
s-parameters in support of both internal and external customers as well
as influencing the signal integrity performance of new designs. Specific
knowledge and experience with the following tools a plus:

 

PakSI

Owaves

Powergrid

            HFSS

            PowerSI

            ADS

Icemax

Hspice

Hyperlynx

Specctraquest

Perl

Matlab

VBA programming

Excel

 

Knowledge of IBIS package modeling and model development for SSO
simulations are relevant skills. 

Hands on package measurement experience in the lab using TDR and VNA
techniques desired.

 

The ideal candidate will have a BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant
experience or a MS or better with a minimum of 5 years experience.
