Hi,
Use the right tool, for example, like, Hyperlynx; to select the right value of
the resistor. Before that identify what method of termination is most suitable
for your interface. If it is a simple series termination and the particular
signal line is bidirectional(eg. data bus), find who is the stronger driver and
place the resistor closer to the stronger driver. If it is a unidirectional
like address bus keep it near the source(eg. processor).
With this you can control Overshoot, Undershoot and maintain signal integrity.
