Hi all,
In SSTL_2, as per JEDEC document, there is a statement,
"The standard (SSTL) is particularly intended to improve operation in
situations where busses must be isolated from relatively large stubs."
Is it conveying, By the use of termination resistor, we can avoid current
dissipation and associated failures due to the accidental short circuiting of
busses to ground or between themselves.
If not, could anyone exemplify the above statement.
Regards,
Canes
