You can demonstrate the idea by getting out an octal or wider driver and wiring all the inputs to the same pulse source, and all the outputs to 50 Ohm loads. Measure the waveforms with tight bypass right at the package, and then inserting your soon to be not so favorite ferrite bead between the bypass and the package Vdd pin. If you don't have a favorite bead, one that is called out in many app notes is a TDK MPZ1608S221A. Then you can repeat the experiment by driving one of the inputs with an out of phase signal. Steve.
