[SI-LIST] SI position available at Broadcom

Broadcom Corporation is looking for a talented, motivated, and committed
Signal Integrity engineer to do electrical modeling, simulation, and design
of advanced semiconductor/packaging/system solutions for high speed devices.
This Principal Engineer job requires an individual with outstanding
electrical simulation and performance characterization skills who is able to
perform detailed electrical analysis on high performance advanced packages
and systems for the leader in communications semiconductors. Must be willing
to work in aggressive growth environment and provide leadership and guidance
as part of a leading edge team chartered to provide SI expertise across
Broadcom.  Broadcom has no shortage of challenging opportunities to
contribute across our wide array of products - from RF to mobile to
high-speed switching to processors to video and so on.

The position will involve the tactical application of SI expertise to the
development of new products as well as strategic responsibilities to
develop/improve SI analysis methodologies and propagate these throughout
Broadcom.  We are looking for someone who has the technical skills to make
significant contributions in these areas and also has the ability to clearly
communicate SI concepts with an emphasis on driving real world issues to
resolution.  The ability to communicate effectively to PCB, package, and
chip designers is a must.

Desired Experience:
        MSEE is required, Ph.D. EE desired
        Sound understanding of electromagnetic theory and fundamentals with
at least seven (7) years experience with electrical modeling tools such as
ANSOFT, Speed2000, HFSS, and other related tools
        Extensive experience with signal integrity and microwave
transmission line theory (both frequency and time domain) 
        Hands-on experience with experimental methods such as TDR and
S-parameter measurement is required
