Ringing is a big player in both SI and EMI, but ringing is easy to fix.
I use two formats: edgerate equivalent frequency (SI), and base CW frequency
(EMI). Everything is a player in emissions, maybe even what you had for
breakfast, or moon phases...there's always something. To me the biggest
single emissions producer is the current return path. For intentional
radiators (these effects dominate RF design but apply equally to non-RF
products), the first thing I do is make sure I have no geometrically induced
resonances, and then reduce the current magnitude and path length.

I think EMI is dependant on edge rate because the quantity of EMI is in
proportion to dV/dt.
But I am not sure about whether ringings are significant or not.
Anyway, the number of ringing become smaller then the sum of EMI come to
small.

Good luck.

Hello everyone !
Reflection(or ringing) can be a significant problem in radiated emission.
Is this true ?
if you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate any comments on this
