Hi,
PCI specs tell us that the maximum trace-length of a device on an expansion
board from the connector shall not exceed 1.5". By permitting up to two PCI
devices to
be mounted on a PMC module, the PMC standard effectively permits 2 devices to be
connected to a PCI bus.
Considering the practical difficulties, in my view, 2 devices on an expansion
module cannot be routed in a daisy chain.
Does any one out there have suggestions on how 2 PCI-devices could be routed on
a PMC, or any expansion card without using PCI-PCI bridges ?
