I suggest that you determine RLGC parameters for some cases
analytically/manually and then compare the results with those produced by
CST.
To keep matters simple start with the lossless case when R and G are
negligible.

Subject: [SI-LIST] RLGC Parameters
Hi,
My understanding is that when you specify RLGC parameters, you have
R and L in series followed by C and G in parallel. However, I am
using a software called CST which is generating RLGC parameters
which have 6 elements. It looks like:
R---L------R----L
| |
C G
| |
GND GND
I need to relate this model to the 4 element model. Can someone
please help?
Thanks.
