Hi,
I am working on a backplane design that has me concerned. With all the
patent grabbing going on out there it's practically impossible to keep up
with who owns what for something as common as a backplane.
What concerns me is how to find *all* the patented items for a backplane.
Can someone throw out some ideas for where to watch out?
What I've heard of so far is:
Fabric weave alignment vs. trace alignment
Plane spacing (.002" aka buried capacitance)
"Triad" routing from Molex
Any others that come to mind?
Thanks,
Bill
