Dimiter, if 1) you are asking for the information that takes one from an
EDIF file to a bitstream, I think you aren't going to get very far. Why do
you need to rely on your own tools to do a job the mfg. tools do for free?
As to 2) if you build a JAM player, then the mfg. tools will build the
right JAM file for you. the only possible tweaking is how many TCLKs are
needed to bypass a given device.
