Hi all,
Has anyone implemented a PCI connector which is not on the main board as the
PCI controller (33 MHz)?
My problem is that there is space requirements that restrict my PCI
connector to be on the same board. So I will have a seperate board to house
the PCI connector and this small board will be connected to the main board
with RIBBON cable (Something like an IDE hardisk cable, about 1.5 inch).
Any comments on whether this will work? Also, would it be better if I were
to use FFC instead of ribbon cables?
Thanks in advance!
Erwin Seow
