If you refer to the PCI Express Card Electromechanical Specification
Revision 2.0 you will see that all the refer reference measurements are
done assuming 100 Ohm termination and 85 Ohm trace impedance.

Subject: [SI-LIST] PCI Express 2.0 diff. impedance
I am told that PCI Express 2.0 signals at 5 Gb/s live in an 85 Ohm
differential impedance environment, however I find no mention of this in
the PCI Express Base Specification Revision 2.0 from the PCI SIG.
Was this requirement dropped at some point?
Thanks
