Gentlemen, we are in a distinguished discussion forum and not a street
melee.
Steve, I think you need some lessons on communication skills. The way
you are trying to mud-sling repeatedly at such a reputed organisation as
Patni is totally unwarranted. Please keep your personal opinions to
yourself.

If you have a burning desire to know the legality behind Kedar's work,
request him and try to find out. You have no right to straight away
start slandering and accuse such a prestigious company of stealing. Do
have any idea of Patni's history and credentials??? This is blantant
character assasination (of Kedar) and defamation (of Patni). I wonder
whether you could be sued for this!!

As Kedar mentioned, if he was really involved in illegal work, dont you
think he would be smart enough to not disclose it in such a public
forum???? Come on, give it some thought...

I am also into service business and I can very well understand how such
a need for reverse engineering can occur when you are supporting legacy
products where documentation is minimal or almost nil.

Really disappointing to see your mails. You are really potraying a very
bad image of yourself and your company.

The least you can do is apologize.

Disappointed,
Kumaran

Kedar, why do you bother with such evasion?

If your motives are innocent, then you can explain your circumstances.
If you are not offended and your motives are innocent
you favor the request for an explanation. But, you don't.

Is it the policy of your company to steal the property of others?

Steve.
