I don't know exactly which TEK DSO you are using, but some have ethernet
connections on them, and some have GPIB ports.

If you have an ethenet connection, then you can save the waveforms into a
format that you can open in excel.  You can save screenshots by printing to
file.

Now I don't want this to sound like a plug, but for the case of GPIB,
several companies make GPIB cards that you can plug into your PC and drivers
for particular scopes.  You can get automated control of the DSO in this
fashion, as well as programmatically record measurements.  National
Instruments makes such cards, but I would check to make sure that they
support your DSO before purchasing.  I know that other companies make them
as well, but I am not sure who they are.

Hi all,

I'm looking to communicate from my TEK DSO to my PC for reports,
documentation, email etc.   Does anyone have any comments on Tektronix's
software called
"WaveStar" ?  I'm playing around with the Demo version I downloaded from
there web site.  I was wondering if anyone had comments on it &
recommendations on anything similar to that for communication to PC.
