Hello everyone,
I would like to interface a microprocessor bus running from 3.3V to a PC
parallel port. The parallel port outputs on my PC seems to be more-or-less
5V levels. I haven't tried putting a voltage source in and reading the port,
but as there are bound to be lots of different implementations of the port,
I wouldn't want to assume that mine is representative. Has anyone tried to
do this in an application? (successfully or otherwise...) What kind of
buffering did you use?
The bus in question is actually the HPI of a Texas Instruments 55x DSP, in
case anyone's interested.
Thanks in advance,
Ian.
