Robert Hanson, MSEE, will be presenting his five one-day high-speed/digital 
 design and EMI/EMC seminars along with Cadence demonstrations of their 
Allegro  Signal Integrity tools November 7 - 11, 2011, in Chicago area.

stripline vs.  micro-strip 
Cadence demo: pre- and post-route SI analysis using ideal  and lossy 
transmission lines

CROSSTALK -  Stack-up optimization and forward/reverse crosstalk 
Cadence demo: pre-  and post-route crosstalk analysis as well as crosstalk  
estimation   
Day  3  
POWER DELIVERY  - Proper use of decoupling capacitors and identifying power 
plane  resonance 
Cadence demo: Allegro PCB Power Delivery Network (PDN)  Analysis   
Day  4  
DIFFERENTIAL  SIGNALING - Loosely vs. tightly coupled differential pairs; 
clock  distribution 
Cadence demo: Tandem and broad-side differential pair  routing and analysis

EMI/EMC -  Source, path, and receptor as well as how EMI/EMC tests are 
conducted  
Cadence demo: EM control rule checking and EMI net  analysis
