Hi, Linda:

I think you should find out whether your antenna and PCB are single-ended or
differential. If it is differential like a dipole type of antennas, you
should connect one terminal of the antenna to ANT and the other one to
ANT_GND. If it is a single ended antenna, I believe you should connect the
second terminal of the antenna to GND. However, you should make sure both
the antenna and the PCB match.

Hi, all,
I am working on an antenna.

I met a problem as below:

At the connector, there are three signals:

ANT: antenna signal (50R)

ANT_GND: antenna ground

GND: the whole PCB ground

Which ground plane should be the reference ground plane for the 50R
impedance calculation?

My PCB is 8 layers. The mirror area of the reference ground on all
layers should be the reference ground plane, yes or not?
