Hi, experts
Maybe it isn't a suitable question for si group. I want to measure a DC
output precisely. Should I use a multimeter or a digital oscilliscope?
I found there always are some minor voltage differences between these two
equipments.
I prefer a multimeter, for I think an oscilliscope is so sensitive that it
may capture a lot of noises which affect the result.
But Someon told me using multimeter is because the multimeter is much more
accurate than oscilliscope's the vertical channel.
On the other hand, most multimeters these days are digital ones which use an
AD.Dose this means a multimeter would also be sensitive to noises and will
capture them during test, resulting a less acurate value?
Which one is better for DC output voltage measurement?
Any thoughts are welcome.
BTW: papers or weblinks are also OK.
