Hello Joel, et al.

You mentioned that all of your clocks were at 1.5 GHz or slower, and that 
someone from Mentor mentioned that loss was only important at 10 GHz.  I think 
there may be a misunderstanding here, and I think that some clarification would 
be important.

At 1 GHz and higher, I would definitely recommend running a simulator that 
models dielectric loss, which can cause significant rise time degradation, and 
begins to gain significance above 500 MHz.  At 1.5 GHz, too, you may be unable 
to get IBIS models from your IC vendor, and may instead need to simulate with 
HSPICE.  HyperLynx GHz (and/or LineSim GHz) would help you with all of the 
above.

If you can reply to me offline with where you're located, and whom you are 
speaking with, I'll contact them with this information, as well.
