[SI-LIST] Re: Maximum Current Density for Copper Plane

Avtaar for generic temperature rise versus current density you can use 
the IPC guidelines.  However, the amount of current that flows in a 
given section of a plane depends on the shape of the plane and the size, 
quantity, and distribution of Z axis attachments.  You can use various 
EDA programs to solve for the current density.
