I always prefered that salary in a New Hampshire flavor
where one is not "burdened" by state tax......
Regarding the 4X rate, I always liked the description of
"for those who can really walk the talk".  While noble,
skills, tools and instruments aren't worth much if they
can't meet and or exceed the results of those without...8-)

A friend always called it Rambo Engineering.  The call
comes in that they asked for something from someone,
it currently doesn't, and it is not clear if it can or ever will.
Oh, by the way, there is a demo date where successful
completion, results in stock split for founders.  No pressure.
Oh, are you done yet?  Just checking......;-)
