I agree with Todd. The original definition of a macromodel is still the
same. It is a circuit oriented mode which may be reduced order or
complexity
such that it runs faster by not having all the details of the original
model.
A behavioral model is a small subset of the macormodeling family where the
simplification is related to the logical behavior. I would have a hard
time to call
a BSIM model behavioral.
