[SI-LIST] Job opening: High speed serial IC characterization manager

Silicon Image*** is looking for a senior level manager/director for a high 
speed mixed signal characterization group. The job involves three major 
functions:
        * Management of the characterization and signal integrity group.
        * Leading the characterization work.
        * Supporting the production test group with test methodology,
                test setup, and hardware design assistance.

For the management aspect the manager will prioritize and schedule the
characterization jobs and will also be in charge of providing estimates of 
the resources needed. Also, the manager will coordinate with test and 
applications groups on production test issues and failure analyses.

The characterization work includes:
        * Prototype chip characterization
        * Production chip characterization
        * Design and development of characterization PCB boards.
        * Providing characterization reports to other groups.

In supporting production test the manager will be setting up test 
methodologies for high speed serializer/deserializers.  This will include 
testing things such as spread spectrum clocked high-speed serial links, bit 
error rate measurements, jitter tolerance tests, ATE load board validation, 
etc.. Also, the manager will be in charge of providing/scheduling 
engineering support for datasheet development/validation.

This position requires:
        Three years of management experience.
        Five years of experience in analog or mixed-mode chip/system
                design (and/or characterization and analysis).
        MSEE/Ph.D in EE.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with circuit or system design, 
simulations and validation of high-speed mixed signal chips. Signal 
integrity design and high-speed communication circuit design experience will 
be very helpful.
