Not necessarily. The accuracy will depend on what the buffer does and whether there are ways to describe that=20 in IBIS. Also, don't forget about the *-AMS extensions in IBIS. You can describe practically anything with those languages, so it is more up to the model maker how accurate their equations are, and not the IBIS spec.
