[SI-LIST] Re: Importance of Package Height

John Barnes presented some data he measured on several ceramic
capacitor styles.

How were they measured? Were they mounted on a test board, with
traces and vias? Or bare components? Does the instrument fixturing
contribute to the measurement?

There seems to be a very wide range of both ESL and ESR within any
group. Any idea why, especially for the ESL? Does it correlate
with capacitance value, or vendor?

You didn't happen to look at some "wide" capacitors (such as 0612),
did you?

Thanks,
Andy
