It is common that people misunderstand how to set up Polar for offset
stripline. Look carefully about how the dimensions are done in Polar.
IIRC there are three thicknesses that you need to specify.
T is the thickness of the trace
H1 is the dimension from the lowest plane to the bottom of the trace
H is the dimension from the lowest plane to the top plane.
You have two choices that will give you exactly the same value.
If you're using 1/2 oz copper the trace thickness is 0.6 mils
T = 0.6 mils
H1 = 5 mils
H = 5 + 22 mils + trace thickness = 27 mils + 0.6 mils = 27.6 mils
or
T = 0.6
H1 = 22 mils
H = 5 + 22 mils + 0.6 mils = 27.6 mils
Both entries will give the same solution.
