Hi Sivakumar,
1) ERROR 71 and 72 usually (95%) indicates that you have a power/ground net
which hasn't been defined in the gcf CONSTANT section. You could find this
net in the qif2xtk. Also other nets, which don't appear to be constant, will
generate an error. Most likely they are connected to that power/ground net
with a series device (RCL). If you find the undefined constant net and make
it constant, these other nets will usually also disappear. If you are sure
that all the power/ground nets are constant and you still get errors on some
nets, you could ignore these trouble nets in the gcf file. Syntax:
<trouble_net> = IGNORE, in the CONSTANT section. Make sure to do a first run
without crosstalk. This way you can do at least a simulation on the other
nets.
2) WARNING 78: this indicates that certain nets aren't routed completely.
This could be redundant traces: you place a trace in layout, then remove it
but not everything is removed (remember that these pieces can be really
small, maybe not even visible with the eye). Most of the time this shouldn't
cause a problem with XTK. Maybe it is best to go back to your pcb package
and perform a cleanup/check. Did you run isf2xtk with the -o option?
Hopefully this will help you solve the problem. Let me know if it works.
Regards,
Wilco
