[SI-LIST] ICM Draft Ver. 1.1 documents now available for review

The IBIS Open Forum is pleased to announce the availability of a draft
ICM (IBIS Interconnect Modeling) ver. 1.1 specification for review.

Two views of the draft document have been posted. One view,
icm_ver1_1c.txt, contains delimiters showing additions to and deletions
from ICM 1.0. The other, icm_ver_1_1_draft1.txt, contains no change
delimiters, to aid reading.

Both documents can be found at the following URL:

http://www.eda.org/ibis/icm_ver1.1_wip/

This draft document includes several changes as proposed through ICM
Issue Resolution Documents (IIRDs). The original IIRD filings can be
found at:

http://www.eda.org/ibis/iirds/

The IBIS Open Forum will start ICM 1.1 "readings" or calls for comments
at the March 11, 2005 Open Forum teleconference. Additional IIRDs may
be filed should significant issues be uncovered during review. After
the document undergoes three readings without major changes, it may be
submitted for an approval vote.

We would like to make the ICM 1.1 specification as useful as possible to
the SI and interconnect modeling communities. Your comments are very
welcome! Please feel free to examine the documents and submit feedback
to the reflectors or any member of the IBIS Open Forum board. =20
