[SI-LIST] Hspice vs Raphael

For a rectangular strip of length 1e-3u, width = 1u,
distance from the ground plane of .1u,
thickness=.001u,
Raphael and Hspice agree on R0, and C0. But L=
5.473e-7 H/m
(Raphael - rectangular transmission line) and
L=5.77e-8 H/m
in Hspice [using W element with a rectangular
transmission
line].

If I change distance from the ground plane to 1u,
L(Raphael)=6.23e-7 H/m, L(Hspice) = 3.34e-7 H/m.

With distance = 10u, L(Raphael)=8.95e-7 H/m,
L(Hspice)=7.86e-7 H/m. With distance = 100u, I get
even
better agreement (10% diff).

Could you provide a back of the envelope calculation
to
calculate L?
Has anybody compared Rapahel and Hspice's field
solvers?
 When I vary W/h from .001 to 1000 , how should I set
nw and

nh in Raphael?
IS there any limitataion on what W/H should be?

Thanks,
Sudha
