[SI-LIST] Re: How to short two nodes in SPICE

It is tempting to think that the 0V voltage source is wasteful, or that it
uses more compute power than a small non-zero resistor. But actually the 0V
source is the preferred and simpler / more efficient method, if you really
want to make two nodes identical.

There can be certain situations where small valued resistors cause large
voltage errors or other strange things to happen in SPICE, whereas a 0V
source doesn't have that particular side-effect.

Like anything, however, there's no guarantee; and I've heard of one case
where somebody couldn't get the 0V source to work as a short (SPICE either
aborted or ran much slower), so keep the tiny resistor in your back pocket
in case the voltage source doesn't work for you.
