[SI-LIST] How to fill copper?

HEllo everbody,Could you help me? 
1. Could you tell me what the difference between solid ground plane and meshed 
plane on a PCB? 
2. At what condition should we to use solid plane or meshed plane? Why? 
3. How to determine the mesh size? What is the relationship between mesh size 
and signal frequancy? 
That will be very kind of you if you could answer me these questions!!!!
